What Made Isaac Wright Jr. Become a Criminal Lawyer?

Today, Isaac Wright Jr. holds a strong reputation as a criminal lawyer. But an outlook into his background reveals the chilling story that engulfed his life for a considerable amount of time and led to the culmination of his career. It is said that some people find success after having gone through a heap of struggles in different aspects of their lives. An individual’s struggle can vary from one person to another. However, the central idea remains that every struggle is like a training ritual that prepares us for what we redeem in our destiny.

The example of Isaac Wright Jr. indicates the same idea. He is a criminal attorney who is responsible for always siding with what is right and representing those who have been wronged by people and corporations in power. Isaac Wright Jr. is also an international trader, trainer, speaker, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.

Isaac was verging on to pursue an enviable career but found himself amid a huge problem. Isaac was convicted of drug smuggling charges. A series of allegations were lodged against him regarding his involvement in smuggling drugs with a notorious network. He was facing life in prison. Isaac was in a difficult situation, one that could literally end his life as he knew it all because he was accused of a crime he did not commit.  He decided to try his case himself.  After a month long trial, Isaac was convicted on all counts against him.

Isaac was sent to prison for Life, and there he started on a pursuit with absolute determination to not let prison life be the course of his journey. He continued studying the law in prison. After extensively studying different chapters, lessons, and case studies, Isaac developed a strategy for his redemption.

He worked on a plan to formulate a strategy for his release.  Isaac developed a legal theory attacking the kingpin jury instructions.  He used that legal theory in another prisoner’s case and won, convincing the Court to reverse the other prisoner’s conviction, making new law.  Isaac then took that new law and used it to get his own kingpin conviction reversed on appeal.

Although Isaac’s Life sentence was vacated, the job was not done yet because he was still had 70 years on the remaining convictions that were not reversed. However, Isaac managed to overcome these challenges as well and soon, he was free of any kind of conviction. Isaac succeeded in doing this by cross-examining a key police witness, James Dugan, causing Dugan to confessed that Isaac was framed. Eventually, Isaac walked out of prison. His life story is a stunning example of not succumbing to the odds surrounding you and believing in one’s ability to process through all kinds of catastrophes in life.
