Calling all Account Handlers

After a number of New Business wins Work Club are looking to bolster their Business Management team, so are looking for top quality Account Handlers at all levels - Account Managers, Senior Account Managers and Account Directors. Please send through a cover letter and CV to hello@work-club.com.

Mid-Weight Designer

We’re looking for a Mid-Weight Designer to join our team.  Someone with a proven track record in designing for web. Someone who believes their best work is still to come.

You’ll obviously need to love the Internet but primarily you’ll love solving problems through great visual design.  Changing things, looking at things in new ways, pushing boundaries.

This role is not just about someone who can deliver a professional looking website. We’re looking for someone whose designs are the end product of great conceptual thinking. Someone who can express their thoughts and and inspire others around them. As well as the hands on studio design work we’ll want you to also work on pitches, develop brand guidelines, get involved with brainstorms and generally make yourself heard.  A designer at Work Club is not only required to colour stuff nicely.  We need you to help solve the problem too.

If you hadn’t guessed already passion counts for a lot at Work Club. It also means many a clubber will have personal projects running alongside their day jobs whether it’s blogging, making, performing or whatever. We (the people doing the hiring) love to see personal work because if you’re passionate enough to do interesting things in your own time then there’s a good chance you’ll bring some of that passion to your work at Work Club.

If all this sounds like you then get in touch.  Tell us why you want to work here and what you’ll bring to the team.  We’d love to hear from you.

Email us and put ‘Designer’ in the subject title. Send us some links to your work.

Oh, you’ll get paid money and be able to work in a nice place with lovely people and an office dog.  But please don’t hang around, we need you right now!

Mid-Senior UX Architect

We’re looking for a User Experience Architect to join our team. Agreed that the term itself - User Experience Architect – means different things to different people, so here’s what it means to us.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the user’s experience sometimes above the actual architecture itself. Someone who is comfortable working alongside Strategists, Creatives, Designers and Developers to craft sound, considered user journeys. For us, UX is a lot more than punching out wireframes. We need you to help solve the problem too.

To have the skills we’re after we’d expect you to have around 5’ish years experience and could have stumbled across UX through various paths – design, strategy, tech, project management. Your background is not important, your passion most definitely is. You’ll be comfortable in front of clients and be able to present with clarity and enthusiasm.

Apart from the above, your role will also include consulting on best practices and UX across a number of projects simultaneously. You’ll be joining the agency as our first UXA. Hopefully to be joined by another within 6 months so you’ll have the opportunity to really get stuck in and consult across multiple clients.

You’ll be at home using any of the following software – Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Powerpoint, Keynote, Omnigraffle and ideally you’ll be comfortable using Mark-Up and Javascript to produce rapid prototypes. However, this is not essential. Whatever you use to do your work is cool with us.
